Dear Johnny and family — I can’t tell you how much Johnny’s work has meant to me, especially on “The Rifleman.” The show was wonderfully done, and the father-son bond between Johnny and Chuck Connors was evident. My beloved dad loved the old TV Westerns and films. He passed away in 2016 at 81 of Alzheimer’s, after surviving cancer. Every time I watch “The Rifleman” I think of him. Thank you for the joy you’ve brought to my family and millions of people throughout the years.
