I am sad to see Johnny pass. He, like so many brought joy and happiness to so many children and adults. I was born in 1949 and was a young boy growing up on Disney, Tarzan, Sabu Of The Jungle, all the great cowboy shows and Westerns and loved every second of the shows. I was in a divorced family and Johnny and Chuck connors represented what having a good father was supposed to be, standing up to do the right things, follow the law, treat people kindly, oppose evil and bad people. Most of the Westerns taught a lesson on good and bad people and taught morals and compassion, sadly, now that these programs rarely air on cable or other media, things in our society are running just the opposite and I miss the old Hollywood and all the great people that worked together to bring such wonderful memories. I watch Rifleman reruns on Pluto TV almost every day and never get tired of any show. It was a wonderful series that blessed America and anyone that watched.
