I only got to know Johnny from his work on The Rifleman in the last few months. However it seemed like I grew up with him even though The Rifleman ended a few months before I was born. The bond he and Chuck Connors had on the show spoke to me deeply and I truly appreciated Johnny‘s work, passion, and talent. His legacy will live on and his work on the screen and from his wonderful music. I will miss him deeply from afar, and pray for his wife Charlotte and for the entire Crawford family.
