Johnny and I share two passions, the cowboy life and big band music and we were both lucky enough to explore both in our lifetimes. Being just a few years younger then Johnny, I remember him when he started on the Mickey Mouse Club. He was indeed an excellent actor. I still watch the Rifleman every day on TV! My mother recently passed away after several years of the same illness so I can relate first hand how difficult it is watching someone you love and admire wasting away mentally. I truly sympathize with the family and offer my deepest heartfelt condolences. Johnny was lucky to have support through those difficult final years. May God welcome his soul!
