I have followed Johnny's career since I was 8 years old watching The Rifleman. As great as that was, I loved his music more. His teenage recordings of Rumors, Proud, Cindy's Birthday were so meaningful to me. His voice was so clear and strong even at his young age. I had the opportunity to meet Johnny three times at different venues later in his life and it was always such a thrill for me. He meant more to me than I can express. My sympathy goes out to his family and close friends and to all his fans who loved him.
