Out of the blue I decided to check in on Johnny only to be shocked at his passing. I cannot tell you how much I was saddened to hear the news. He was truly one of the rare legends of the entertainment industry. The first child actor of the television age in the 20th century. A real piece of Americana as Mark in The Rifleman. Talented with a booming personality and a smile that would brighten ones day. When I was younger and watching the show I wasn't aware of his musical talent, and then one episode I heard him out of nowhere belt out greensleeves. He had a great singing voice as well. A true entertainer who will live on in our hearts, immortalized on film for generations to come. Johnny Crawford you will be missed, thank you.
