The Gen. Sheridan episode has gotta be one of the best - Lawrence Dobkin & Royal Dano steal the show as ex-Civil War Union Gen. Phil Sheridan, & Johnny Reb, a one-armed Rebel veteran respectively - “alright Johnny, watta ya hanging fire now for” as the general coolly lights his cigar - it’s also 1 of the Rifleman series best endings - w/Sheridan intoning “I’m carrying out the last & greatest order of my wartime Cmdr in Chief - Bind Up The Nation’s Wounds” Thank you Johnny C, & Chuck, for all those great shows
