I just found out a couple of days ago that Johnny had passed. I would like to wish the family my condolences. I am a farmer who grew up watching the Rifleman in the fifties and sixties. I can only say how sad I am that he has passed. He was an inspiration to me as I was growing up as well as I’m sure he was to others. If the young men of our current generation would like a role model, I would recommend they watch episodes of The Rifleman and model themselves after Mark McCain. Thanks Mark, (Johnny), hope to meet you one day. Thanks for all the memories.
