I was so sad to hear of Johnny's passing. When I was a young girl around 9 or 10, my mother bought me a 45 record of his song "Cindy's Birthday, for my birthday. I remember playing that record over and over and over and I thought "he wrote and sang that song for me". It made me very emotional and happy when I played it. I had a crush on him that lasted through the years. Loved watching him in the Rifleman show that I continue to watch to this day. My deepest condolences to the family of Johnny Crawford. 💕

I am so heartbroken to hear the news of Johnny's passing. I loved his acting and still watch The Rifleman today, as it's in reruns. My heart goes out to his family.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Johnny Crawford. I actually got to see the first "Rifleman" episode where Lucas and Mark arrive in North Fork to buy their ranch. He was just so adorable on that show when it was first on. He was an excellent actor and seemed like a genuinely kind and decent person. He'll be missed.

Grew up watching the Rifleman and always admired Mark McCain aka Johnny Crawford. The world is a little sadder knowing Johnny is gone and my heart will be a lot sadder when I watch the re-runs. The show and his character left a good impression of manners, loyalty and right and wrong. RIP.

Rest in Peace, Johnny. Too many years have passed without saying "hello". That I regret but I know you lived your life with little if any regrets. Enjoyed the few moments as kids on the set. Say "hi" to Chuck.

I awoke to a warm, sunny, Arizona spring day. Then to learn of Johnny’s passing, took me back. I just watched him in 2 episodes of The Rifleman yesterday. He was blessed to have his family and close friends with him. I wish his wife the best. I will keep him in my thoughts, and continue to watch him on film.

My sincere condolences to Charlotte and Johnny's family and friends. As a fan going back to 1955 with The (original) Mickey Mouse Club, I've followed the career of Johnny and other "mice" through the years. Another piece of my heart broke with this loss. RIP Johnny.

My sisters and foster brothers and myself grew up with The Mouseketeers and The Rifleman. Growing up in Milford NE. which was a very small town. School during the day and weekends family time watching TV. I thought someday I would get to meet them. If only in a girls dream. My sympathies to the Johnny Crawford family. Cherish your memories of him. May God Bless You All!! Sandy

I grew up watching Rifleman with my dad who called them Shoot'em ups. I still watch every Saturday afternoon and it does not matter if I've seen them over and over. RIP Johnny! May the family find peace.

My deepest condolences to Johnny's family and dear ones. He will be waiting for you at the top of the trail. May you ride to the top of the crest, looking down from yonder mountain...the vista wide and full of natural beauty that reflects your heart Johnny Crawford. I knew you well lad, sending love on the soft winds, hasta luego.
