My husband and I still watch all the re-runs if The Rifleman shows. I had a big crush on him as a little girl and always was amazed to see him so confidently ride and handle the horses and wagons at such a young age. My mother suffered with Dimentia for several years and know how Alzheimerโ€™s Disease can hurt so bad. Rest In Peace little man. Love and miss you!

I was watching a rerun of the Rifleman and as the station broke for a commercial, the photo of Johnny Crawford appeared with the dates at the top saying 1946-2021. I immediately knew he had passed away. I am so very sorry to have learned of his passing and all that he gave us. The Rifleman was a favorite of both myself and my late husband. We watched every episode and sometimes even cried at how very touching the story lines were. The bond between Father and son was so endearing. We will miss Mr. Crawford's warm smile and his talents. May God hold you all in His loving arms and comfort you. Mr. Crawford will never be forgotten, he leaves a wonderful legacy you can be proud of. God bless you during this most difficult time.

It is with a sad heart I come to write on this page. I am truly sending all my love and prayers for Johnny and his family! Johnny gave us so much joy through his acting and his music! I have been a fan for so many years and continue to be through throwback tv binge watching! Johnnys acting ability in The Rifleman was spot on! You couldn't help falling in love with both Johnny and Chuck! Their on screen chemistry as father and son was so believable! That chemistry is what made the show! I still watch it today! As far as Johnny's musical talents goes, I have also been a fan! I still play his music! Of course "Cindy's Birthday" is still my favorite! It gets played every year on my birthday! I always felt it was written and sung just for me! What girl wouldn't want Johnny singing to her or about her! Of course I knew it wasn't my song, but every girl can dream can't she! As one of Johnny's most endearing fans, I was so saddened to learn of his illnesses and then of his loss of his battle that he so gallantly fought!... Read more

I love watching all of the Rifleman reruns with actor little Johnny Crawford! He always had the best smile, was so polite, and what a fantastic relationship he had with actor Chuck Connors who played his father! I was just thinking the other day while watching he is the only living actor from the show and now today he has passed away. God rest his soul for the wonderful person he was and how he touched so many lives. Your work is done Johnny and now it is time to Rest In Peace.

I was so saddened to hear this morning of Johnny's passing. He had a legacy all his own and admired by many of us. I used to never miss a Rifleman episode, and had a crush on Mark when I was a young girl. May you rest in God's peace, Johnny. You will be greatly missed.

May I say with the deepest respect and love how my heart goes out for the family. That young man I also fell in love with at the age of 10 was amazing. Happy to say for my family when I called the operator in 1965 to contact him in Hollywood they just said he was busy lol. Glad to see how he loved his family and again so sorry for your loss.

Dearest Johnny I just discovered the Rifleman in 2020, and am mesmerized by the little man you were, and the personality that oozed out of you. I watch the re-run every day I'm home, and was just going to find out more about you, when I saw the notice of your passing Rest well in God's arms! You made the world a better place!
