Sorry I never was lucky enought to see his other stuff, we only got 2 channels where we lived, we had our antenna high upon the hill but some called it mountain , when limb fell on line, my brothers had to walk the line and fix it, when it worked someone shot gun to let them know it was working that's why I missed Johyys work or I would havent missed it. I have only just discovered "The Rifleman" through video streaming on the Internet and really liked it. I'm going through the series, so was really sad to hear firstly of Johnny Crawford's battle with Alzheimer's and now death. I was the same age as Johnny when he appeared in the series back in 1959. Although there were many US Western tv shows on UK tv back in the 1950s, I do not remember The Riflemen amongst them. He was wonderful in it and with Chuck Connors presented a wholesome and attractive character. My sympathies go out to his family and all his fans but at least we can still watch him through all the recordings.

Johnny Crawford and his orchestra played Gypsy jazz for us at our wedding reception in 2006. It took place in the Founders Room of the Walt Disney Concert Hall on May of that year and we were very fortunate to have been able to have these gone musicians at our party. Many of the guests, some Disney employees, were very surprised when took the stage. I remember that even the piano tuner mentioned that it would be a night to remember โ€ฆ he wasnโ€™t wrong. Rest In Peace, kind sir.

Upon hearing this news, more devastated I could not be. What a positive influence Mr. Crawford made on so many lives. His professional abilities rivaled that of his adult contemporary's. His wonderful legacy is secure now for many generations to come. Mr. Crawford is in Heaven now and all the angels, they sing; for now he will dwell in the mansions of Kings. My condolences to the family.
