Johnny; Just a note from a fan for over a half century. I’m a retired scientist/ professor who has traveled the planet. There are two bits of truth I have firmly fixed in my mind that you might find of interest. One, experiencing your work over the years made my life just a little bit sweeter. Two, their indeed is a God in Heaven. I sense our paths will cross their someday and I’ll ask then if you would teach me to throw a lasso. Peace be with you and your loved ones.

I had the pleasure of meeting Johnny on the Queen Mary may years ago when he had a big band. I remember how friendly he was.

Sitting here watching Rifleman and wondered where is Johnny Crawford...googled and there you are just as handsome as ever. Stay blessed, safe and thank you and legendary Chuck Conners for the shows that keep me happy while in quarantine.

Dear Johnny, I met you in 1966 when you appeared at Riverside Park in my hometown Agawam, MA. You were in the Army at the time, stationed at the Niki Missile base. You were 20 and I was 19. There were over 10,000 people in attendance, one of the biggest audiences they had ever had. You gave two wonderful performances and you asked me to film the second one with your camera. I had never used a movie camera before so I was always nervous about how the film came out! You and the manager of the Park's Entertainment asked me to join you for something to eat at a local restaurant. It was so exciting for me as you can imagine. Afterward you borrowed the manager's car and we went for a drive and we even stopped at my house and you met my parents and two brothers. You were so gracious and kind, a real gentleman. We then returned to the park for your second performance and my "skilled" camera work! Thank you for being so wonderful and giving a teenage girl such a great memory. God bless.

Loved the Rifleman series. Recently acquired an original 1962 LP album "A Young Man's Fancy" by Johnny. Listening now...special. My mother is also in a memory care facility. My thoughts go out to Johnny and his family at this time. Good to know he is well taken care of at this time of life.

I love ’The Rifleman’ show as a boy and hope to purchase all of the episodes on DVD, once all technical issues over zoning can be resolved, as I live in Australia. Your role as Mark McCain, Lucas McCain’s only son, was remarkable and enjoyable. Anybody watching Rifleman can see how close both of you worked together, and the performances of the both of you were very believable as father and son. I wish you and all of your family and friends well, Johnny Crawford. Your performance on Rifleman and all other actors was inspirational and a guide to how to behave in the world.

I have been a Rifleman fan since my childhood, and enjoy watching on MeTV every afternoon. Thank you, Johnny, for your many years of entertainment. Your acting talent has covered a wide range of emotions and genres, and your portrayal of Mark McCain was always delivered with a degree of professionalism usually seen only in older actors. Whether it's a light-hearted episode or a darker story, your acting has always come through with equal talent. Prayers and warm wishes for Johnny and the entire family. Thank you for bringing Mark to life with such fine ability. May Peace be upon you!

I fell on Johnny's website today and I felt compelled to post something. I provided audio for Johnny in Lewisville and Grand Prarie, Texas about eight years ago and I have to say that Johnny was a delight to work for! Over the years I have worked with so many people who were stars in the past and so many have been so difficult to deal with. I was completely surprised that Johnny was 100% professional, sang wonderfully, led the band perfectly and was just a great guy to work with. I have worked with a whole bunch of people over the years, but Johnny was a highlight. Take care Johnny.

The Tension episode shows why the Rifleman was tops among the many westerns - the cattle drive at the beginning (& it’s Chuck & Johnny driving the cattle too, not standins) - then the ending in the barn, where Johnny lassoes the rifle from Jack Elam’s grip, & just before Jack Elam impales himself on the pitchfork, a horseshoe goes flying across the barn at the camera so realistically that I find myself ducking! Well wishes to Johnny et al, great to see how happy he looks in the FB photos

My son, who is now 10 watches every now and again but he reminds me of you in the show. And I just wanted to say thank you for being the person you are. Just recieved my autographed Brigadoon program. Love the movie, wish I had seen Johnny in the show,but I was only 9 at the time. Wish I could have met him. Hopefully these purchases help in a small way. Love and prayers to both of you. Hang in there Charlotte.

A million thanks Charlotte for the Nov 1 update - good to know Johnny is back in a facility he’s comfortable with - am sure it’s all been a lot of work lately, & hoping the burden is being shared w/love & respect by as many as possible It’s cool the way Johnny half jumps, half slides down the ladder from the hayloft at the beginning of the episode about the princess & her kid brother on the run Biggest ups to those caring for him - thanks Johnny, you’re loved a lot good buddy

Really enjoying Johnny’s CD & DVDs😀 - amazing pitch in his singing voice - love that 1920s era music, am reminded of Wild Honey Pie, also to a lesser extent, Good Night, that Paul did on Side 4 of the Beatles’ White Album - & as a rodeo cowboy? Wow - amazing - those are ornery beasts to stay up on, but stay up he did, & if he got thrown he bounced right back up & did it again - many thanks to this great man, & to Charlotte & his caretakers
