Everytime I watch the rifleman I would really dig being transported back in time to be in north fork with Luke and mark I often say 3 shows I recommend for all families to watch daily andy Griffith show little house on the prairie and the rifleman all 3 have special bond with father and his children but the rifleman was a single parent deal and chuck and Johnny had a great bond if they weren't on tv you would smile at that bond to see johnny had success before and after the rifleman and he was successful and giving us all a smile thanks for the memories and being a great person.

Every day at 3pm we sit and watch the two episodes of the Riffle Man. Mark McCain will live on through his movies. We like his witty, funny character and his singing when he does sing. Thank you. We send prayers to his wife and family.

I was truly saddened to read in today's paper that Johnny Crawford had passed. He and Chuck Connors brought my cousins and me so much joy as we watched The Rifleman. We look at him as our big brother, although we only knew him thru the series. Every year, I'd search online, to make sure he was doing ok. Although he's gone on, we'll still have our brother with us thru the many hours of The Rifleman. May his soul rest in peace and may the Lord comfort and strengthen his family and all of us who love, and will miss him.

This is a very simple comment but completely true: Who that has been a fan of The Rifleman does not feel a true love for Johnny Crawford? Johnny, as Mark had the most wonderful clear & resonant speaking voice. Nance Crawford, I have been to your charming Christmas house several times before it was presented to me that you were the sister of Johnny. I was shocked! Condolences. A poem for your brother that you compose so well???

So very very saddened to hear of Johnny's passing. He was a multi-talented artist and we shared a love for Bix Beiderbecke's music. Hearing Johnny play that music was amazing and may Johnny and Bix enjoy many jam sessions together. You will be missed, Johnny. All my love to Charlotte, what a deep and tragic loss this is for you.

I was so saddened to hear the news of Johnny Crawfordโ€™s passing. My husband and I have been watching all the Rifleman episodes on Me TV. We enjoyed seeing Mr. Crawfordโ€™s exceptional talent and the way he would convey the emotions his character felt on the show. He and Chuck Conners had great chemistry and truly seem like father and son. Thank you for sharing special gift with the world. God bless your soul Johnny Crawford. May you Rest In Peace. I only got to know Johnny from his work on The Rifleman in the last few months. However it seemed like I grew up with him even though The Rifleman ended a few months before I was born. The bond he and Chuck Connors had on the show spoke to me deeply and I truly appreciated Johnnyโ€˜s work, passion, and talent. His legacy will live on and his work on the screen and from his wonderful music. I will miss him deeply from afar, and pray for his wife Charlotte and for the entire Crawford family.
