We are so sad to hear about Johnny’s passing. Every day we still watch The Rifleman at 3 pm and have taped every episode. My husband and I always say “if we could only meet Johnny Crawford.” We are and always will remain big fans...may your family find peace and remember all the beautiful times you shared with him...God Bless!

Every week I watch reruns of The Rifleman as a part of staying connected to my childhood, and this show is one of my all-time favorite memories. I loved their father-son relationship and just felt their affection for each other was REAL. I am really sad to learn of "Mark's" passing for it really gives me a reality check as we are in the same age group. MAY JOHNNY CRAWFORD REST NOW IN GOD"S HEAVENLY HOME.

I still watch the Rifleman all week and watching today and saw the Johnny’s picture with the notice was a real shock to me. I enjoy seeing the characters of the show still to this day. I am saddened from this loss and send my prayers and sympathies to everyone. God has called him home and he is no longer in pain and discomfort. May your hearts be blessed and filled with love to mend the brokenness. I will never forget Johnny singing Green Sleeves. I will return here soon to place an order to cherish with my memories of him.

One of my very favorite shows when I was a little girl, was "The Rifleman". Aside from Chuck Connors, I absolutely loved Johnny Crawford. His music was wonderful. It broke my heart when I heard he passed. My heart goes out to his family and close friends. He will be so greatly missed. God Bless to all of you.

Very sorry to hear of John's untimely death. We boarded at the same stable by Griffith Park in the early 60s. He was always a great guy with whom we had lots of teenage fun. A talented equestrian and all around cowboy, John rode his pinto as he did on TV. I remember a number of times when two of us boys would get on a pony who tried to buck us off while John would try to rope us. These are the childhood memories that will stay with me always! Ride on in Heaven John!

I am sad to see Johnny pass. He, like so many brought joy and happiness to so many children and adults. I was born in 1949 and was a young boy growing up on Disney, Tarzan, Sabu Of The Jungle, all the great cowboy shows and Westerns and loved every second of the shows. I was in a divorced family and Johnny and Chuck connors represented what having a good father was supposed to be, standing up to do the right things, follow the law, treat people kindly, oppose evil and bad people. Most of the Westerns taught a lesson on good and bad people and taught morals and compassion, sadly, now that these programs rarely air on cable or other media, things in our society are running just the opposite and I miss the old Hollywood and all the great people that worked together to bring such wonderful memories. I watch Rifleman reruns on Pluto TV almost every day and never get tired of any show. It was a wonderful series that blessed America and anyone that watched. So sorry to hear of Johnny Crawford's passing. I am a big fan of the 'Rifleman' series. In fact, there are several of them shown every Saturday morning here where I live; in the afternoons during the week. It was a terrific show. I knew he had alzheimers, as my mother had, and know what he had to deal with. He lived a good and full life. May he rest in peace and my prayers for him and his wife.

I first met Johnny in my class at Cheremoya Elementary School. He was such a nice boy and we all were in awe of his singing, dancing, and acting talents. I watched him as a Mouseketeer and on The Rifleman. Some close friends went ballroom dancing to his big band music. My heartfelt condolences to his family. Rest in peace, Johnny. We will never forget you.

Yesterday when I was watching "The Rifleman" Johnny's picture with birth and death dates came on and I almost fell off my chair. I quickly went to my computer to look this up and was simply horrified to learn of his passing. Since I was a young girl he's been one of my favorite actors. I've probably seen "The Rifleman" complete series 10 or 12 times and never get tired of it. My sincere condolences to his wife, family and friends during this difficult time. My best regards to you all, Virginia Dwyer St. Paul, MN
