I think of Johnny singing and riding with his westerns family. The first time I heard him sing I was a little girl and he sang on the Rifleman the song I think was evergreen. I sad he’s gone but he isn’t hurting anymore. My prayers go to his family and friends. God bless

I discover the Rifleman on prime! I fell in love with little Johnny! He was a fantastic child actor. The viewers can see and feel the heart of gold that he has. In my opinion the best child actor in history. I love to watch with my son the episodes. Seen on YouTube interviews of him we can see that he so polite and full of values. All our prayers to the family and rest in peace Johnny. We love you. P.S Bobby his very good to perfect brothers!!

As I don't follow much of the news anymore, & the passing of older actors is increasingly ignored (esp. those from the b/w era). I was though deeply saddened to learn of the untimely passing of Mr. Crawford as displayed recently on "ME=TV". Though I never had the honor of meeting him, a true pioneer of the classic-tv era; Like so many, I "knew" really only through theirs on-screen roles. My friends now are most "TV-ones". After childhood (I was born in '60); I typically worked & served in the military as a career. After I retired, having much more free time/ freedom, I began to watch/ re-watch most of the "TV" I grew-up with. I was able eventually/ finally to see "as-aired" complete runs of entire series. Now I've seen at least a half dozen complete 'runs' of "The Rifleman" - and still enjoy each episode (unlike some other series) I read about, after wondering about the interactions between Mr. Crawford as a boy & Mr. Conners. His teenage recordings of Rumors, Proud, Cindy's Birthday were so meaningful to me. His voice was so clear and strong even at his young age. I had the opportunity to meet Johnny three times at different venues later in his life and it was always such a thrill for me. He meant more to me than I can express. My sympathy goes out to his family and close friends and to all his fans who loved him.

Johnny and I share two passions, the cowboy life and big band music and we were both lucky enough to explore both in our lifetimes. Being just a few years younger then Johnny, I remember him when he started on the Mickey Mouse Club. He was indeed an excellent actor. I still watch the Rifleman every day on TV! My mother recently passed away after several years of the same illness so I can relate first hand how difficult it is watching someone you love and admire wasting away mentally. I truly sympathize with the family and offer my deepest heartfelt condolences. Johnny was lucky to have support through those difficult final years. May God welcome his soul!

I am so very sorry for your loss. When I was 6 years old, Johnny played mark McCain on The Rifleman. He never knew it, but he was my very first CRUSH!. No one knew it but me. We had a Crawford Wood burning cookstove in our kitchen my Mom used to cook on for her 9 kids. Every night, after watching this handsome young man---who was kind and showed respect to his father---making him even more attractive to this young fan---I would go out to the kitchen and trace my fingers over the word Crawford that were on the Stove. It was my way of reaching out and touching my heartthrob! I am glad he had a very happy life and wound up with a loving family. That is all that matters in this life. I pray he also come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior as well. That is all that matters, in Heaven.....God bless and comfort those of you whom he so loved.

I'm a year younger than Johnny. Most of the Rifleman episodes that I've watched were several years ago while babysitting my grandkids after school. We all enjoyed and found meaning in them. It breaks my heart that we've lost Johnny.

My husband and I did enjoy watching The Rifleman together. My husband loved all the old tv westerns. Johnny's passing is very sad. Especially sad as my wonderful husband passed from Covid in late January this year. He was 74. Love will be emptier without them.

I grew up watching Johnny in the Rifleman. I even remember him in 1 or 2 Army training Films. I feel I have lost a brother I never met. The family is in my prayers.

I am so so sad of Johnny Crawford’s passing. I have been watching him play Mark McCain for many years and I cherish all the memories of him. My grandson and I loved watching him on Me tv. I am praying for his family as I know they will miss his big smile every day! Thank you Johnny for all the memories you have given me!! I’m so glad you won’t be suffering anymore! Love you

We were saddened by the news of Mr. Johnny Crawford’s passing on Thursday, April 29th. We watched the RIFLEMAN when we were in elementary school while living in our hometown of Washington, D.C. And we still watched episodes of the Rifleman after moving to Tennessee. I also have 3 episodes on a DVD of one of my favorite westerns. We also remember Johnny as one of the original Musketeers 😃❤️ Condolences to his wife and brother and the entire Crawford Family. We pray that Jesus will continue to comfort you in the days, weeks and months to come. Peace & Blessings 🙏🏽
