I was truly shocked to hear of Mr. Crawfordโ€™s passing. I remember watching The Rifleman and envying him when I was a child. I still watch reruns of the show and have fond memories of my childhood. I will pray for him and for his family.

So very sorry to read the news of Johnny Crawfordโ€™s passing. I watch faithfully the reruns here in the Boston area of the Rifleman What a great enjoyable TV show that displayed the rewards of honesty integrity and family values I donโ€™t see many TV shows like that today. Johnny Crawford was a natural. We will miss him.

So sad to hear of Johnnyโ€™s illnesses and death. Enjoyed The Rifleman as a child and rediscovered it again while staying home during the pandemic. I was impressed with how genuine his acting was and the emotions he so effortlessly portrayed. I hope he realized the joy he still brought to people & that brings you comfort..

Johnny stabled his pinto horse ("Two Bits" which was given to him as a gift) at Fred Bales Stables on Riverside Drive in Burbank; my sister, Carolyn, and I stabled our horses there as well. I think Bobby Crawford also stabled a horse there but I'm unsure about that. I have two very vivid memories of Johnny. The first -Johnny and and another round actor, Joel Thomas who stabled his horse at Bales, had a running feud which finally came to a fight - very one-sided - Johnny won. My second memory - when Johnny got his driver's license he also got a car, a Chevy convertible I think but that was 60 years ago. Johnny, took my sister and I to Disneyland and his fans hounded him all over the park. He asked me to go to Main Street and buy a disguise so he could see there park in peace, I was about 12 and I was afraid they'd ditch me so I say no. I regret that decision to this day.

I used to run a Celebrity site that I heard Johnny was a fan of. That was kind of cool to me. Our local station is running a Rifleman Marathon. The kid was a natural. My condolences. As someone said, Another piece of my childhood gone. With any luck, he and Pa are together again. RIP Johnny

We are so sad to hear about Johnnyโ€™s passing. Every day we still watch The Rifleman at 3 pm and have taped every episode. My husband and I always say โ€œif we could only meet Johnny Crawford.โ€ We are and always will remain big fans...may your family find peace and remember all the beautiful times you shared with him...God Bless!

Every week I watch reruns of The Rifleman as a part of staying connected to my childhood, and this show is one of my all-time favorite memories. I loved their father-son relationship and just felt their affection for each other was REAL. I am really sad to learn of "Mark's" passing for it really gives me a reality check as we are in the same age group. MAY JOHNNY CRAWFORD REST NOW IN GOD"S HEAVENLY HOME.

I still watch the Rifleman all week and watching today and saw the Johnnyโ€™s picture with the notice was a real shock to me. I enjoy seeing the characters of the show still to this day. I am saddened from this loss and send my prayers and sympathies to everyone. God has called him home and he is no longer in pain and discomfort. May your hearts be blessed and filled with love to mend the brokenness. I will never forget Johnny singing Green Sleeves. I will return here soon to place an order to cherish with my memories of him.

One of my very favorite shows when I was a little girl, was "The Rifleman". Aside from Chuck Connors, I absolutely loved Johnny Crawford. His music was wonderful. It broke my heart when I heard he passed. My heart goes out to his family and close friends. He will be so greatly missed. God Bless to all of you.

Very sorry to hear of John's untimely death. We boarded at the same stable by Griffith Park in the early 60s. He was always a great guy with whom we had lots of teenage fun. A talented equestrian and all around cowboy, John rode his pinto as he did on TV. I remember a number of times when two of us boys would get on a pony who tried to buck us off while John would try to rope us. These are the childhood memories that will stay with me always! Ride on in Heaven John!

I am so sad to know that Johnny has passed. I so enjoyed watching him on the Rifleman. He was such a good guy and seemed to really like being on the program. I remember seeing him on the Mickey Mouse Club too. May God bless and keep his family safe from all harm.
